Gluten-Free Blueberry Peach Crumble


It’s summer and fresh, local fruit is in full swing! I love to whip up crumbles (also called crisps) because they’re easy and can be easily customizable according to your fruit preference. Right now I am loving blueberry peach. To me, it’s the epitome of summer!

If I’m being totally honest, I have to say that the crumble is my favorite part. It’s crunchy and buttery and just oh-so good! The balance of soft, cooked fruit pairs really well with the crumble – a nice balance of texture.


This recipe is single serve for those nights when you just want a dessert for yourself to relax by the pool, on the balcony or cooling off indoors with some Netflix (I’m  watching Gilmore Girls this summer and am addicted). Side note: You can double and triple (and so on) this recipe if you would like to make multiple crumbles. You can also top it with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream. It’s great either way!


Before we get started I wanted to share my favorite gluten-free flour with you by the brand Cannelle. I use their all purpose gluten-free flour (pictured below) as well as their brown rice flour. Their flours are made here in Quebec and I can honestly see the difference in quality compared to other brands. Cannelle’ flours are free of artificial preservatives and additives and have a great neutral smell. They’re also non-GMO which is a win!


Let’s get this crumbly party started!

Gluten-Free Blueberry Peach Crumble (serves 1)


  • 1 peach, cubed
  • 1/2 cup blueberries

crumble ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. oats
  • 2 tbsp. gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp. butter


  1. In a single serve ramekin, add the cubed peach and blueberries.
  2. Make the crumble: In a bowl, combine the oats, gluten-free flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon and salt. Mix to incorporate. Add the butter and work it in with your hands until it becomes a crumbly topping with clumps of crumble sticking together.
  3. Place crumble topping over the fruit and bake at 350F degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden and the fruit is tender. Enjoy as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
