Lemon Hummus

Hummus is the glue that holds my life together!

Seriously, is there any better spreadable substance than hummus? Okay, maybe hummus is tied with fresh guacamole for me but on the plus side, you never need to wait for chickpeas to ripen (lol) like with avocados.

If you’ve never made homemade hummus, today is your day! It is so easy and so worth it. First, you’re saving money. 4-5$ per small container adds up QUICK! Second, you control what goes inside ingredient-wise. Don’t like tahini, skip it. Love garlic? Add it, and so on.. Last but not least, it makes a big batch! Over 2 cups of fresh hummus in under 10 minutes? YES PLEASE!

What are you waiting for? Go grab your food processor and let’s make fresh hummus together! I’d love to see a pic of your hummus – tag me @TheNutritiousPrincess so I can comment.
