Happy national chia seed day!
If you didn’t know, I’m a matcha enthusiast! I crave matcha lattes but also love getting creative with the beautiful green powder in the kitchen. So I’m merging my love for matcha with chia seeds to create this vibrant green pudding!
Chia pudding is one of my favorite things to make with chia seeds because it is so quick and you can go crazy with the flavour! I layered this matcha pudding with plain yogurt. It’s a delicious combo to swirl together – truly a delicious matcha-matical equation.
This green matcha pudding is so incredibly easy to make. You simply need to throw 4 ingredients into a jar and shake it up. You’ll need:
Matcha Chia Pudding
- 3 tbsp chia pudding
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup/honey
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tbsp flaxseed meal (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in an air-tight glass jar. Seal jar and shake. Refrigerate overnight.
- Enjoy the next morning with your favorite toppings!
