Turmeric Chia Pudding

If you missed last weeks’ post, I talked about one of my favourite hot drinks ever – turmeric golden milk lattes. You can read the post here where I share my recipe as well as talk about the benefits.

I thought I’d combine two of my favourite things today: chia pudding and turmeric lattes. This is a great breakfast since it packs in protein and healthy fats from the chia seeds along with the health benefits and antioxidants of turmeric, which helps fight and prevent many diseases.

Not only is this chia pudding loaded with benefits but it has got that beautiful yellow turmeric colour or as I sometimes say, highlighter fluid.

Turmeric Chia Pudding (serves 1)

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • turmeric paste (recipe here)

Directions:

  1. In a jar, add the milk, chia seeds and turmeric paste. Close the jar and shake until well incorporated. Refrigerate overnight.
  2. The next morning, serve with your favourite toppings. Enjoy!

NOTE: If you made my turmeric paste recipe in “bulk,” add 1tsp-1 tbsp of the paste to your chia pudding.
